Accolade is an on-demand healthcare concierge for employers, health plans and health systems. The Accolade solution integrates the broadest set of personal health data and information – benefit plans, medical and Rx claims, biometrics results, risk scoring, demographics, integrated point solutions, and interactions between members and Accolade Health Assistants and Nurses. In 2016, Accolade successfully raised $71.1 in VC funding, including from a16z. Umair has been with Accolade since its first customer, and now as the VP of product, he leads solution design, which focuses on redesigning how our core business processes work within their revamped technology stack. Umair received his BS in Accounting from University of Houston then his MBA from HBS in 2010.
Onduo is a digital healthcare company, based here in Cambridge, that was launched as a joint venture before Verily (formerly called Google Life Sciences) and Sanofi to help people with diabetes live full, healthy lives by developing comprehensive solutions that combine devices, software, medicine, and professional care to enable simple and intelligent disease management. Andrew is the Head of Product at Onduo, and before that, he was at Omada Health, an online diabetes management program, as the Co-founder and the Chief Technology Officer for 5 years. He's also the advisor for Call9 and Wellist. Andrew holds a BS in Computer Science from Columbia University.
Gina is the co-founder and chief product officer of Ovia Health, the leading digital women’s health platform. Through comprehensive and customized maternity benefits and three mobile apps — Ovia Fertility, Ovia Pregnancy, and Ovia Parenting — Ovia Health empowers women take control of their healthcare both at home and at work. Prior to Ovia Health, Gina founded and ran Automatic Apparel, which sells basic apparel and accessories through high-tech touchscreen vending machines located in high foot traffic locations. Her background is in aerospace systems and industrial engineering, and graduated from HBS in 2010.
Jessica is an Associate at F-Prime Capital and focuses primarily on the biopharmaceutical and medical technology sectors. Prior to joining F-Prime in 2015, Jessica was an engagement manager in McKinsey and Company’s Boston office, where she focused on pharmaceuticals and medical products and advised companies across a range of strategic, organizational, and operational topics. She began her career at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in the Biodefense Systems group, where she worked on developing novel techniques for the detection of biological agents. Jessica holds a Ph.D. in genetics from Harvard University and received her BS in biology from Duke University, graduating summa cum laude.
