Mark Robins is VP Product at Nervana, where he leads product management, product marketing, and customer success. Nervana offers "AI-as-a-service" via Nervana Cloud, a full-stack hosted platform for deep learning. With Nervana Cloud, businesses can develop and deploy custom, high-accuracy deep learning solutions at a fraction of the cost of building their own infrastructure and data science team. Nervana was acquired by Intel in August 2016.
Prior to Nervana, Mark served has VP Product for Influitive and, before that, Chegg through their IPO in 2013. Before Chegg, Mark was co-founder/CEO of Grouply, a social networking startup that was acquired in 2010. Before Grouply, Mark was Sr. Director of Product Management at Siebel Systems through its acquisition by Oracle in 2006. Mark studied EE/CS and neural networks at Cornell and Caltech and received an MBA from Harvard in 1998.

Prior to joining iRobot, Blandine was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. She co-founded and served on the Board of EGG-energy, a social venture aiming to provide affordable power to low-income households in Tanzania (and - wink-wink - winner of HBS business case competition), and performed academic research at several leading institutions. Blandine holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Systems from MIT, an MS in Nuclear Engineering from UC Berkeley and an Engineering Degree from École Polytechnique.

Pete Karl II is passionate about the crossroads of people, software, and physical objects. As Software Design, Expert in Residence at IDEO he tackles some of the most interesting challenges in the global charge to a digital future. Effective innovation requires monumental attention to people, business, and the path from idea to market. Before joining IDEO, Pete was a Director with Localytics, a rapid growth startup in the mobile app analytics and insights space. There he helped grow the engineering team from twenty-five to eighty over five months and constantly transformed their recruiting, management, and engineering processes to keep up with rapid cultural change. Previously, he was Managing Director of Bocoup, a software engineering and FOSS evangelism shop. Pete has worked with startups, software giants, and editorial powerhouses.
